Telephony on PSP
Telephony feature now available on gaming gadgets. Sony is on their way to initiate this idea. they recently announched their alliance with Skype, voice internet and messaging platform to enable PSP-2000 to make a phone call on cheap price, even for gree anywhere through the internet.
Scheduled on late january 2008, Portable playstation users will be parts of Skype network which now has 260 milion members. using stick memory, wireless internet connection and audio input wares that compatible with Skype. users can do a lot of activities like chatting via instant messaging, free voice call to online Skype users also make phone call to PSTN or chellphone all over the world at low chrage.
Unfamiliar with PSP-2000? the gadget is the latest handheld gaming console from Sony, released on September 2007. grom the way it looks, it’s 33 percents lighter and 19 percents slimmer than the previus PSP model. but, considering their competitor; Nintendo, who’s getting more popular with their Wii, Sony gone have to find out new strategy other than just changing it’s appearance to maintain their position on gaming console battlefiled.
let’s just wait and see how successful their collaboration will be…
