Wibrain, extends UMPC’s Functions
NYgadget recently tried a UMPC gadget made in South Korea, Wibrain B1E. It’s weighting only grams and 4.8 ” screen, with QWERTY keyboard and WSVGA 1024 x 600 pixels touch screen.
Wibrain enriches UMPC category that previously appeared, like product by OQO, Fujitsu, Samsung Q1, Asus R2H, or Sony VAIO UX280. With lenght only 192 mm using four cells battery. Wibrain resemble to models developed by Samsung as well as Asus, stretching lenghtwise with seperated keyboard operated with thumbs.
Adapting 1.2 Ghz C7M ULV processor by VIA and 512 Mb memory and 30 Gb hard disk. Wibrain attempt to be a distinguished UMPC, different with other UMPCs that appeared to be bigger due to the using of 7 inches screen like the ones from Samsung or Asus.
Wibrain is easy to operate and offers comfort to use anywhere as a mobile device. The worth trying thing is to integrate wibrain as the central computer in a car, so that this Korean product can be a good friend in the middle od traffic jam especially in a big city.
Another seri of Wibrain, B1H also equiped with GPS feature. Wibrain also features wireless and bluetooth to enable internet connection trouhg htospot or with other devices. for example to access 3G networks.
Wibrain becomes a projection of future technology with touch screen using stylus, suficient digital data storage, and features the whole computing function completely. And mobility as a characteristic of information technology, makes anyone can do their works anywhere, anytime.
