Google Docs Offline

Install Google Docs Offline

Google recently enhanced their web based office application service, Google Docs, with an application called Google Gears. Google Gears is a Javascript API that enables Google users to work offline

To be able to take advantage of this fascillity Firstly, users must open Google Docs, then click on the link offline. After installation or activation of Google Gears, you also had the opportunity to add an icon on your desktop, presumably to make Google Docs seem even more like a desktop application. Automatically, all the online documents will be synchronized to documents off line. Google gear can take shape from Internet browsers like Internet Explorer or Firefox.

Synchronization appears to be continuing, but you can also right-click on a document in the list of documents and select “Sync now (for offline access)” if you want to be sure you have the most up to date before going offline version. But for a while, the Synchronization process runs a bit too long for a large file. But the next process would be faster
