Asus EEE Box to be Released

Asus EEE box

Asus has finally launched EEE Box stop outside the bag, an official press release has been published on its website, and gives most of the details.

The specifications were very close to the rumored package, so that we can only hope the rumoured pricing will be just as close, if so can we expect the Fund electrical and electronic-retailing around $ 299. The ESA Box, according to the press release is running Windows XP Home and powered by a 1.6GHz Intel processor Atom N270. The mini PC will also include 1GB of RAM, 80 GB hard drive, 802.11n Wi-Fi, an Ethernet port 10/100/1000 service and card reader.

While generally a low-cost, low-powered computer has some positive aspects, such as exclusive Express door that promises the possibility of “accessing the Internet, with pictures, or communicate across IM / Skype only 7 seconds after booting “. Moreover, ESA Box has a “unique form of heat dissipation” that allows a computer silent that only puts out the noise of 26db.

As mentioned, the press release left off any mention of a date of actual availability, however we hope that this is hitting the market sooner rather than later.
