Sony HDR-CX12, Smile and shoot it

Sony HDR-CX12 the new high definition camcorder offers Smile shutter and face detection technologies with which you can shoot video and capture smiles at the simultaneously.
Sony has launched its new HDR-CX12 high definition camcorder that features both face detection technology and the smile shutter feature that allows the Videographers snap photos of smiling even when subjects are shooting video.Users can even give priority to the smiles of adults and children to ensure that perfect shot and capture smiles, even when in standby mode: the only goal camcorder on the issue, and the easiest thing is to worry about seeing the smiles.
“The advanced technologies, such as the smile shutter make automatic capture memory so you can relax and enjoy the moment at hand,” said Sony Electronics, director of camcorder marketing Kelly Davis, in a statement. “Leveraging these key technologies across multiple product lines is another example of Sony’s commitment to anticipate consumers’ needs.”
The CX12 can record video from 1080 to 1920 full high definition resolution, as well as snap 10 megapixel photographs. The camera stores images and video at Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo media, which helps keep the size of the camcorder down: it is only 2.8 inches wide, 2.8 inches deep and 5.3 inches long. The video camera sports a 2.7-inch LCD display, a Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T 12 x optical zoom, optical image stabilization, and Sony BIONZ image processor. The CX12 also a sport zoom microphone integrated and Dolby 5.1 channel surround sound.
