obama vs McCain

If the U.S. presidential election is conducted on the Internet, Who would you think be the next president? If you agree with me, we probably can easily say Barack Obama would emerge as the winner. For, This Democratic Candidate is known as Tech Savvy and he has effectively taken advantages of internet and other media.

And how about John McCain? With no intention to under estimate him, but for technology matters you would agree with me that he’s far behind his contender, Obama.

Consequently, it we can see the use of technology in campaigning for both. Obama becomes undisputed winners of popularity in the virtual world.

Michael Malbin, executive director of the Campaign Finance Institute said, That Obama has optimizes the use of Technology, not only as the ‘weapon’ to conduct the campaign, the technology also made the Illinois Senator as a tool to make donations and embrace volunteers.

Meanwhile, at social networking sites, The rush of Obama’s charm is unstoppable . He has more than 1.9 million supporters on Facebook while McCain only got 550 thousands of supporters.

Both candidates also put their campaign video on YouTube. Yet again, Obama’s video grab more attention that the video of his Republican Contender.

Julie Germany, director of the Institute for Politics, Democracy & the Internet George Washington University said that Obama’s campaign has been carried out effectively with the ability to adopt Internet technology.
