How to Make Your Notebook Battery more Durable
One of Notebook’s advantage compared with desktop computer is the convenience to be brought anywhere. But the benefits will be useless if the notebook battery over and over again ‘drop’. Many notebook users complain because of weak battery, and forced to carry a spare battery to support the notebook performance.
Indeed, ideally the notebook battery can be used for at least two hours, but there are some tips that can help you to increase the performance of the battery, so that the notebook battery to be more durable. The first step you should give more attention to the display monitor, the brighter the display, the more energy will be consumed. To reduce the power consumption, you should reduce the level of brightness on the display.
Another step can be taken to preserve your notebook battery is by stopping or Bluetooth or other wireless signal when it is not in use. The continuing use of Wi-Fi Connection can eat up the battery power.
You should also pay attention to Power Management of your notebook to save the battery. If you use Windows XP, you can set the computer to use low power mode. Go to the control panel and select the power option in performance and maintenance. Then the option will appear as follows
another step that should be considered is how you recharge your notebook battery. Shut down the notebook when the battery is being recharged. And if the battery is fully charged, then you are should immediately unplug the battery adapter.

Wordpress 2.7 beta 1 Available now
The WordPress 2.7 beta 1 is finally available and you can test it by downloading the Wordpress 2.7 beta 1. The 2.7 will come up with a new visual design, but there are still a few areas that aren’t quite finished in Beta 1, such as issues with IE and Opera.
Unfortunately the stable version won’t be available on November 10th as scheduled earlier, the edition will be delayed for about 2 weeks. Here’s the excerpt;
Speaking of the final release, it will not be available on November 10th as originally scheduled. We are two weeks behind schedule at the moment. We need a little more time to finish the visual design, do a round of user testing against that finished design, and do a proper round of public beta testing. Our plan is to keep working as if Nov. 10 is still the release date. However, instead of releasing the final 2.7 on the 10th, we will make a release candidate available instead.
if you can wait to see the new feature of Wordpress 2.7 you can download the beta version here
